A satisfying end to Bran and Talia's story, but I did ask myself along the way just how many more obstacles could be placed between them.
Things I liked: The chemistry between the pair is still red hot. The change of setting from Australia to California kept things fresh.
Things I didn't like so much: So much was made of the possibility of lasting effects from the illness, and then she left hospital and it was never mentioned again. The self fellating gerbil. What was that about? Obstacles seemingly for the sake of obstacles.
Overall I enjoyed it, but had their story ended with the second book, I wouldn't have been overly disappointed.
